NJPW’s Will Ospreay Praises AEW Title Match

Will Ospreay has praised Jade Cargill and Skye Blue for the finishing spot in their recent AEW TBS Championship match.

Blue challenged for Cargill’s gold during the January 6 Battle of the Belts V show.

After nine minutes of action, Cargill reversed a hurricanrana into her Jaded finisher with an impressive show of strength.

NJPW star Will Ospreay was wowed by the spot, replying to a video of the finish on Twitter:

“Amazing” 

Both Cargill and Blue thanked Ospreay for showing them love.

Ospreay’s most recent run-in with AEW took place at Wrestle Kingdom 17, when he defended the IWGP US Championship against AEW EVP Kenny Omega.

The AEW name ultimately defeated Ospreay for the gold in what Dave Meltzer ranked a 6.25 stars.

Ospreay wrestled for AEW five times in 2022, most recently teaming with Aussie Open to face Kenny Omega & the Young Bucks in the AEW Trios Championship tournament in August.
