Nicholas C. Martinez
There are very few people in the professional wrestling business who can be viewed as both consistent and spectacular, especially considering how tumultuous and dangerous it can be. Mike “The Miz” Mizanin is a person worthy of such praise.
Through his years of service with the WWE, he has evolved from a gimmick reality star longshot into a soon to be Intercontinental Championship Icon. He truly has re-invigorated the IC belt these past few years and returned it to its former glory, when it was held with pride by Hall of Famers like “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Chris Jericho, and the man The Miz is set to surpass as having the most days as champion Pedro Morales.
While Seth Rollins has the potential to take the IC Title to even greater heights (and help it shine even brighter through his amazing and frequent defenses), it was The Miz who, in recent history, made the title desirable, laudable, and relevant again. “The Architect” will be a great IC Champion going forward, but he has to travel a very long way to be considered as AWESOME an Intercontinental Champion as Mike “The Miz” Mizanin.
Answer: The Miz
