William Regal is set to be a playable General Manager in WWE 2K22, despite getting released from his WWE contract last month.
A review of the game by Wccftech has revealed that Regal will be one of the playable GMs in the anticipated MyGM mode. Sharing the following screenshot, Wccftech confirmed that Adam Pearce, Sonya Devilla, Shane McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon will also be available as GMs:
Several released WWE stars have appeared in promotional material for the upcoming release, including Karrion (Killer) Kross, who was featured in a recent gameplay clip. You can view every name confirmed for WWE 2K22 here.
Regal was released by WWE on January 5, during the most recent round of Performance Center cuts. Regal’s departure ended his 22 year tenure with the company.
