A WWE star has been announced as “coming soon” for an upcoming update to the well-received WWE 2K23 video game.
Already boasting an impressive roster, WWE 2K23 will add superstars through paid-for DLC packs and, it’s now been confirmed, for free with updates.
The official WWE Games Twitter account confirmed the addition of Mia Yim to the game and shared a video of her in-ring entrance, which you can see below.
She will be playable after the next update, which the account notes is “coming soon”.
This may be the start of a number of free DLCs for WWE 2k23 with GameRant noting that WWE Games Associate Gameplay Producer Bryan Williams stated that 2K plans to “patch in” some free roster additions.
More paid DLC is coming for the game, with the Pretty Sweet pack set for release on May 17 featuring Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Tiffany Stratton, Elton Prince and Kit Wilson.
June 14 will see the Race to NXT DLC, featuring Harley Race, Ivy Nile, Wendy Choo, Tony D’Angelo and Trick Williams.
On July 19, players will be able to get hold of Revel with Wyatt DLC, featuring Bray Wyatt, Zeus, Sarah Logan, Joe Gacy and Blair Davenport.
August 16 brings players the Bad News U DLC containing Eve Torres, Wade Barrett, Damon Kemp, Andre Chase and Nathan Frazer.
WWE 2K23 was launched on March 17 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
