Triple H Comments On WWE 2K24 Cover Stars & Game Modes WWE, 2K

Following its official reveal on January 22, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has now commented on the release of WWE 2K24.

In what is a highly anticipated title for wrestling fans and video game enthusiasts worldwide, WWE’s next video game outing has now been confirmed for release.

As detailed in a lengthy press release coupled with an official trailer, several details were confirmed for the upcoming game including the cover stars, different editions available to purchase, game modes, roster and many more.

Now, shortly following the reveal, Triple H has commented on both the choice of cover stars for the game as well as the highly anticipated Showcase mode.

Firstly, The Game posted a congratulatory tweet towards Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley, with Rhodes selected as the cover star for the game’s standard edition release, while Ripley and Belair will feature on the cover of the deluxe edition.

Taking to Twitter, Triple H referred to all three stars as “game-changing” with the decision more than “well-deserved”:

I’d say @CodyRhodes, @BiancaBelairWWE and @RheaRipley_WWE becoming @WWEgames cover stars is “well-deserved,” but that would be a massive understatement.

Congratulations to three game-changing Superstars that have earned the right to be the faces of #WWE2K24.

Following this, Triple H would then dedicated a separate tweet to the WWE 2K24 Showcase mode, which was confirmed to be dedicated to celebrating 40 Years of WrestleMania.

Expressing his excitement for the mode’s inclusion, Triple H tweeted:

In honor of every @WWE Superstar and Legend to step onto The Grandest Stage of Them All, and every member of the @WWEUniverse who’s cheered them on… @WWEgames is introducing the Forty Years of #WrestleMania Edition of #WWE2K24.

Really excited for this one.

As shown-off in the game’s trailer, the mode is set to allow players to replay several matches across WrestleMania’s 40-year history, something last done a decade ago in WWE 2K14 in celebration of the event’s 30-year anniversary.

The standard edition of WWE 2K24 is set to release on March 8, 2024; with the deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania edition available on March 5, 2024.
