The release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of WWE 2K25 has been revealed, alongside a new trailer featuring gameplay footage and several current stars.
During the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal event back in April, 2K were among the video game publishers to announce upcoming support for the new console – confirming that their two flagship yearly sports franchises: WWE 2K and NBA 2K would be coming to Switch 2 in the future.
With the console launching worldwide on June 5, fans have been anticipating more information on what is the franchise’s big return to a Nintendo platform for the first time since WWE 2K Battlegrounds in 2020, and before that WWE 2K18 in 2017.
After teasing an announcement this past week, WWE 2K dropped the official trailer for the Switch 2 version of the game, along with pre-order details and cameos from LA Knight, Finn Balor and Raquel Rodriguez.
While it wasn’t confirmed in the trailer, WWE 2K25’s listing on Nintendo’s North American eShop has the game listed for a release date of July 23, 2025 at the price of $69.99 for the standard digital version, $99.99 for ‘The Deadman Edition’ and $129.99 for ‘The Bloodline Edition’.
WWE 2K25’s most recent downloadable content pack: ‘Dunk & Destruction’ was released on digital stores last week, featuring TNA Wrestling legend, and current WWE producer Abyss, The Great Khali, Shaquille O’Neil and current NBA stars Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton.
