WWE SmackDown on March 29, 2024, won’t feature AJ Styles according to the Phenomenal One himself unless something changes.
The March 22 episode of WWE SmackDown saw LA Knight attack Styles in his own home, leading to the police arresting Knight.
Footage from the encounter can be seen below this news story, with the pair continuing their aggression while Knight is being restrained.
Knight had warned Styles to turn up on this week’s SmackDown or he’d make a return visit.
The events of last week have an implication for this week’s SmackDown with Styles posting a message to Nick Aldis on Twitter saying:
“Here’s the thing, Nick. I’m not going to be at SmackDown this Friday night as long as LA Knight is there.
“So, make sure that he isn’t”.
In the wake of the attack, Knight advised Styles that he “might wanna invest in a front gate.”
Knight and Styles are set to face each other at WrestleMania 40 on April 6 & 7.
Styles had previously made it clear that he wouldn’t be at WWE SmackDown until after WrestleMania 40.
