WWE Star Spotted Backstage At IMPACT Wrestling Taping

A WWE star has been pictured backstage at the recent IMPACT Wrestling taping in Atlanta, GA, appearing on a top star’s Instagram story.

Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Gigi Dolin was captured behind the scenes in IMPACT, posing for a selfie with Taylor Wilde.

Dolin’s real-life partner Zachary Wentz (FKA Nash Carter in WWE) made his IMPACT return at the tapings, which were for the IMPACT Summer Sizzler event, likely spelling the reason for the WWE star’s attendance.

Wentz, who last featured in IMPACT in 2020, took on Bullet Club’s Chris Bey in one-on-one action at the taping. Since his WWE release in April 2022 Wentz has featured for promotions such as 1PW, REVOLVER and Prestige Wrestling.

Dolin most recently competed in the NXT Women’s number one contender battle royal on the June 6 episode of NXT, a match eventually won by Chase University’s Thea Hail.

Hail will compete for the title against Tiffany Stratton at the second week of NXT Gold Rush on June 27, in Stratton’s first televised title defence.

Elsewhere on the card NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes defends his title against main roster star Baron Corbin, Nathan Frazer puts his newly-won Heritage Cup on the line against Dragon Lee and NXT Tag Champions Gallus defend against Malik Blade and Edris Enofe.
