WWE star Bayley has responded to Indi Hartwell, teasing a possible appearance at TNA Slammiversary in June.
TNA Slammiversary takes place on June 28 in Boston, Massachusetts, the day after WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
While little has been officially confirmed for Night of Champions, Bayley has confirmed that she may have a spot in her schedule for Slammiversary.
Having teased possible matches against Elayna Black and Indi Hartwell, a response to the latter has hinted at when such a moment could take place.
With Hartwell taking to Twitter to ask Bayley if she’s free on June 28 – the date of Slammiversary – Bayley would note that she may be able to fit the former WWE star into her schedule for June 28, tweeting:
“I think I can fit you in my schedule ✏️✏️✏️”
It was Hartwell who asked if Bayley would be free for that date, with TNA Wrestling’s Cedric Alexander sharing “👀” on Twitter among the replies to the WWE star’s suggestion.
Alexander will be defending the X-Division Championship in an Ultimate X match at the Agganis Arena pay-per-view.
Bayley recently appeared at an NXT live event, later calling on Shawn Michaels or Matt Bloom to bring her back.
The WWE star would also recently be in action against Flammer, challenging for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, only to come up short thanks to interference from Las Toxicas (La Hiedra and Lady Maravilla)
WWE Main Roster Stars May Boost TNA Wrestling
The multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling has mainly focused on NXT stars and their Impact counterparts.
While this has clearly benefitted stars from both camps, giving them opportunities against new opponents and exposure beyond their traditional audience, securing a main roster WWE star for a match, particularly at a TNA pay-per-view, surely makes sense.
Last year, Leon Slater, then X-Division Champion, made his WWE main roster debut, teaming with Je’Von Evans in a losing effort against Dragon Lee & AJ Styles at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the December special that marked the final match of John Cena.
While Styles would appear in TNA Wrestling, he would do so in a non-competing capacity, despite hopes he would have “one more match” in his former home before his retirement earlier this year.
It’s too early to say whether Bayley will compete at TNA Slammiversary, or appear in another capacity, although the possibility, although the opportunity to bring WWE main roster recognition may be one that is too tempting to miss.
Bayley has shown her love of not just Hartwell and Black, but women’s wrestling across the spectrum in general, having run her most recent Lodestone all-women’s seminar earlier this year.
