WWE Bloodline Backstage Change Update

WWE Bloodline Backstage Change Update WWE

An update has emerged on the storyline surrounding the Bloodline faction, with clarification emerging on a recent change.

There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the status of the Bloodline following WrestleMania 40, with Jimmy Uso losing to Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns dropping the WWE Undisputed Universal Title match.

This was before Friday’s (April 12) edition of SmackDown, which featured a Bloodline segment which fuelled speculation about the group’s next big storyline.

During the segment, Solo Sikoa attacked his brother Jimmy Uso with the debuting Tama Tonga. Solo and Tonga left the arena together, seemingly indicating that Tama Tonga has replaced Jimmy Uso in the Bloodline.

Interestingly, Jason Jordan was listed as the sole producer for this segment. This was unusual because Michael Hayes has typically produced Roman Reigns and Bloodline segments for years, with Bobby Roode also helping out recently, however neither were involved with Friday’s segment.

This fuelled speculation that Jordan could become the Bloodline’s producer for segments moving forward.

In a new update, Fightful Select reports that Michael Hayes is expected to resume producing Bloodline-related segments, meaning that this change was only temporary.

Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode were listed as producers for both the WrestleMania 40 Night One and Night Two main events.

On the Saturday night, Reigns and The Rock defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to make Sunday’s main event a Bloodline Rules bout. In the final match of Sunday’s show, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to end his 1316 day reign with the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

Contract details have emerged on another potential WWE signing amid rumors about them joining the Bloodline.
