AEW’s Chris Jericho Accuses WWE Of ‘Pettiness’ After Raw AEW

Chris Jericho has slammed WWE for what some have seen as “pettiness” over a recent tribute to Bob Barker who passed away on August 26, 2023.

The veteran gameshow host was a familiar face on WWE programming having served as a guest host on WWE Raw in 2009.

One of the interactions that continues to be well-remembered by fans was between Barker and Chris Jericho.

Jericho shared the encounter on his own Instagram account along with a tribute to the late star.

Highlights of Barker on WWE Raw can be seen below this news story, including the omitted Jericho content from last night’s tribute.

The AEW star also revealed that Barker was “the only guy who almost made me break on camera.”

On the Monday, August 28 episode of WWE Raw, a tribute was played to the late Bob Barker who passed away at the the age of 99.

Chris Jericho’s encounter was, however, missing from what was shown on television screens.

Responding to a tweet that said: “How they gonna show the Bob Barker footage and not show the best part, his confrontation with @IAmJericho? Come on! #WWERaw”, someone else replied:

“Typical WWE pettiness.”

This caught the attention of Jericho who replied with a very simple:

“Yup.”

Chris Jericho faced Will Ospreay at AEW All In which took place on August 27, 2023 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Ospreay would go on to win the match and also shared his thoughts on social media, paying tribute to both AEW and those who have followed his career.
