Will Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho at AEW All In on Sunday August 27 at Wembley Stadium and has now broken his silence on his victory.

AEW All In took place in front of 81,035 paid attendance at the iconic London venue, with Tony Khan confirming the number and also announcing a return date in 2024.

In the wake of his match, Ospreay has now broken his silence on the match and the impact it has had one him.

Writing about the show on Twitter, Ospreay said:

“The gratitude I have for you all that have followed my career throughout this crazy journey is genuinely overwhelming. Last night you & AEW truly changed my life.

“Honoured not only to represent my family, NJPW but represent British wrestling at Wembley Stadium.

“Thank you so much.”

He shared photos of his ring attire, showing off the many British companies that he has worked for over his career.

In the short video included in the tweet, he would reveal that he was wearing his Uptown Funkers trunks, paying tribute to the late Ryan Smile.

Smile passed away at the age of 31 in October 2020 having lost his battle with mental health.

He continues to be well remembered by colleagues on the British wrestling scene.

With yet another high-profile victory on his record, Ospreay continues to have the eyes of the world on him and will be making a return to IMPACT Wrestling.
