WWE has botched an announcement regarding new champions following a title change on this week’s edition of NXT.
Tuesday’s (February 13) show featured an NXT Tag Team Championship match, with 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin challenging for Tony D’Angelo & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo’s titles.
Breakker and Corbin were ultimately victorious, defeating The Family to win the gold.
WWE has now half-updated WWE.com to reflect this title change. Only half because Baron Corbin is missing off of the roster page’s championship graphic.
In the champions section WWE.com roster page, it is noted that the current champions are “Bron Breakker, Baron Corbin”.
Corbin however is not featured on the graphic, which only shows Bron Breakker, as you can see below.
Other NXT champions are listed correctly, including NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov, North American Champion Oba Femi, women’s champion Lyra Valkyria and Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar.
This NXT Tag Team Title win marked Corbin’s first championship win in NXT. Breakker previously held the NXT Championship on two separate occasions.
The duo won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament at NXT Vengeance Day on February 4.
Spoilers have emerged on WWE’s plans for Breakker, following the rising star’s recent appearances on NXT and the main roster, which you can read more about right here.
