WWE Women’s Champion Bayley has shared a message for her upcoming title challenger, calling her a living legend.
Following Bayley defeating IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 40, the Role Model made an appearance on Friday’s (April 12) edition of SmackDown to find her next challenger.
It has now been confirmed that Naomi will challenge for Bayley’s gold on next week’s episode, with Naomi pinning Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown to cement herself as the #1 contender.
Bayley has now taken to Twitter to share the match graphic for the upcoming title belt.
Sharing praise for Naomi, Bayley wrote:
I don’t know that there’s any woman on this roster that I have more experiences with, inside or outside of the ring. From 2015 Europe tour, to Saudi Arabia before a pandemic, to the @Usher concert in Vegas!
@TheTrinity_Fatu is a living legend. I can’t wait sister 💚
Naomi was also in action at WrestleMania 40, teaming with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to defeat Dakota Kai, Asuka and Kairi Sane.
WWE title plans for Jade Cargill have potentially been revealed after SmackDown, which you can read more about right here.
