Madison Rayne Announced For Mae Young Classic
Someone who likely won’t be either All In or Jericho’s Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea is former five-time Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne.
WWE officially announced yesterday that Rayne – wrestling under the real name Ashley Rayne – will be a part of the second Mae Young Classic – which starts taping very soon.
Rayne was last seen in Impact at Slammiversary in a losing effort to current Knockouts Champion Su Yung, and she was also a part of Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor tournament – losing in the first round to Mandy Leon. It had been reported back in October that Rayne was at the WWE Performance Center for a tryout.
WWE also announced Priscilla Kelly and daughter of NXT trainer Robbie Brookside, Xia Brookside for the tournament, which will also feature Io Shirai, Kaitlyn, Mia Yim, Rhea Ripley, Deonna Purrazzo and the legendary Meiko Satamura.
The finals of this year’s Mae Young Classic will take place at the aforementioned Evolution this October from the Nassau Coliseum.
Cedric Alexander Shoots On Neville
But someone who likely won’t be around to see that show is the King of the Cruiserweights Neville. The former Cruiserweight Champion walked out on WWE back in October 2017 and hasn’t been seen since. There have been rumours that talks between the two parties have been positive, but the latest reports are that WWE are paying to keep Neville at home so he doesn’t go to any of their competitors, or even shows like All In and Jericho’s cruise.
But his name came up recently in a series of Twitter replies from current Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander. Alexander won the title at WrestleMania early this year, and has since defended it against the likes of Mustafa Ali and Buddy Murphy – something he proudly boasted about on the social media platform over the weekend.
When someone replied asking if this was the perfect time for a certain return of the king, Alexander replied:

When someone argued that Neville didn’t quit and simply walked out over bad booking, Alexander replied:
