Charlotte Flair has shared her reaction to CM Punk stealing her robe for his own entrance at a recent WWE Live house show.

During the WWE Summer Tour 2026, an untelevised house show took place in Las Cruces, Mexico, with CM Punk teaming with Cody Rhodes to defeat GUNTHER & Ricky Saints.

The match would see CM Punk make his ring entrance in a robe belonging to Charlotte Flair, with the footage making its way online via the official WWE Instagram account.

Flair would also share footage on her Instagram Stories (reposted to Twitter right here), with an on-screen comment reading:

“This made my day.”

Speaking on WFAN, Flaire revealed how it all came about and her thoughts on seeing Punk dressed in her attire, saying:

“I think he had been trying to get my attention for like five minutes, and I was just talking to two of the boys that just had a match, and we were talking about their match. It was Melo (Carmelo Hayes) and Trick Williams.

“And then I look over, and I see the collar of my robe. I’m like ‘What the…?’ And then I got in there, and he has it. He couldn’t even get it on.

“And then he was like, ‘No, follow me on my entrance, which is so cool cause when the guys want to incorporate the women in part of the show, it’s awesome.”

Flair was also in action at the Las Cruces show, teaming with Chelsea Green & Tiffany Stratton in a victory over Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Lainey Reid).

As for Trick Williams, he would retain the WWE United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes.

Raising A Smile Through Untelevised Moments

WWE stars have embraced social media to tell more than just the stories that will be seen on Raw, SmackDown, NXT or a related PLE.

For Charlotte Flair, her robe has also found its way into the hands of Danhausen, resulting in a moment where The Queen ended up in ‘pretty evil’ face paint with that footage shared on Instagram.

It’s moments like these that are unlikely to be seen on television, but still provide an element of fun for the fans and the stars involved. Moreover, it’s content that, in the grand scheme of WWE storytelling, isn’t necessarily needed, takes time to create and organize, yet is delivered with just as much commitment to the bit as whatever does take place backstage on any given show.

For some stars, creating moments like this are no doubt a valuable step in getting recognized by WWE creative. Finding something that goes viral on social media is, after all, a goal for anyone with a following on social media. For a star of the caliber of Flair, however, it’s a push she doesn’t particularly need, yet commits with enthusiasm.

Regardless of the reason, however, many of these short videos find a sense of appreciation among many fans, giving a glimpse at the lighter side of WWE stars
