Ahead of the WWE AAA TripleMania 2026 two-night event, the company will have yet another special event on a Saturday with its Verano De Escandalo show.

The promotion has already announced Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano vs Los Perros Del Mal, Flammer vs Lady Shani vs. La Catalina for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and Rey Fenix vs Mini Vikingo for the AAA Cruiserweight Title.

With just one week remaining before this huge show, there could be some more bouts announced for this three-week event that will put the company front and center on the road to TripleMania.

Here are six matches to be potentially added to WWE AAA Verano De Escandalo 2026.

Omos vs. Lince Dorado vs. Galeno vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. – AAA Latin American Championship

On the July 7 edition of WWE NXT, El Hijo del Vikingo was scheduled to defend the AAA Latin American Championship against EK Prosper, but Keanu Carver attacked the AAA star and got the match removed from the show.

Following this attack and his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship match against Rey Fenix on the July 10 SmackDown, Vikingo is now expected to miss some time due to a reported knee injury.

On the July 11 episode of AAA on FOX, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio announced that the AAA Latin American Championship was vacated with an announcement on the future of the title expected on the July 18 edition.

In what should be an intriguing four-way, AAA Verano De Escandalo could see Omos, Galeno, Lince Dorado and former champion El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr battled to determine the next AAA Latin American Champion.

Rey Fenix (c) vs. Mini Vikingo – AAA World Cruiserweight Championship Two Out Of Three Falls Match

The AAA World Cruiserweight Championship has gotten a major spotlight ever since Rey Fenix captured the title at AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026.

Over the past few weeks, Fenix has gotten a few successful defenses against the likes of Axiom, Nathan Frazer and El Hijo del Vikingo on Friday Night SmackDown.

While he is scheduled to face Mini Vikingo next for the title at AAA Verano del Escandalo 2026, Fenix could up the ante by adding a stipulation to their match.

Fenix defending the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Mini Vikingo in a two-out-of-three falls match could make for a potential showstealer on the AAA Verano Del Escandalo 2026 special.

Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice (c) vs. La Hiedra & Laredo Kid – AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship

Over the past few months, Mr Iguana and Lola Vice have proven themselves as fighting AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions.

Many times when they defend those titles, Vice and Iguana have faced a combination consisting of La Hiedra and a different tag team partner.

On the July 11 edition of AAA on FOX, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio announced that Hiedra has one last chance to win the title in her number one contender’s match with Laredo Kid against Joaquin Wilde and Faby Apache on the July 18 episode.

It feels like this sets the stage for Iguana and Vice to defend the titles against Hiedra and Laredo at AAA Verano Del Escandalo 2026, which could prove to be the last stand for Hiedra to get revenge on the champions.

El Fiscal vs. Abismo Negro Jr. In A No Holds Barred Match

Over the past few months, El Fiscal and Abismo Negro Jr have been at each other’s throats in a personal rivalry.

On the July 4 episode of AAA on FOX, Fiscal and Abismo looked to finish their rivalry, but Los Perros Del Mal made a statement by laying out both men with a five-on-two assault.

While they might have to come together to fight the threat of Perros sooner rather than later, AAA Veranos Del Escandalo 2026 could see another chapter in the Fiscal vs Negro Jr feud.

Fiscal and Negro Jr having a No Holds Barred Match would be interesting to see if these two men can finally settle their months-long rivalry on July 25.

Damian Priest & R-Truth (WWE) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (AAA) – WWE & AAA World Tag Team Championships

At AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, The War Raiders defeated Psycho Clown and Pagano to win the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

Ever since this win, Erik and Ivar have been showing up on Friday Night SmackDown, looking to add another set of titles to their collection.

Taking aim at Damian Priest and R-Truth’s WWE Tag Team Title, The Raiders have been looking for a champions vs champions match for all the gold.

While Priest proclaimed that bout will take place on SmackDown, WWE could determine this would be better to bolster the AAA Verano Del Escandalo 2026 card, especially considering the former World Heavyweight Champion now appearing on AAA as of late.

Penta (c) vs. La Parka – WWE Intercontinental Championship

Back in April, Penta made history by defeating El Hijo del Vikingo to retain the Intercontinental Championship, becoming the first star to successfully defend a WWE main roster title on an AAA show.

The company could decide to place another IC Title bout on the AAA Verano Del Escandalo 2026 event on July 25.

Looking at the Lucha Libre AAA roster, La Parka is someone who can truly stand out if he was chosen to be showcased against one of WWE’s best on a major event.

Parka challenging Penta for the IC Title could deliver something special that would elevate the championship, both men and the AAA brand in a major way at Verano Del Escandalo 2026.
