Damian Priest Clears Up ‘Confusion’ On WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Plans WWE

WWE star Damian Priest feels no sense of urgency to cash in the Money in the Bank contract as Senior Money in the Bank says he’s ‘chilling’.

While in the past, the Money in the Bank stipulation ‘expired’ at WrestleMania, the modern iteration of the contract stipulation sees it extended until the next titular premium live event.

Therefore, Damian Priest actually has another four months to cash-in ahead of Money in the Bank 2024 in Toronto on July 6, 2024.

Speaking to the Babyfaces podcast, the Judgment Day member was looking forward to rubbing an eventual successful cash-in ‘shutting up’ his haters, saying:

“Just waiting and seeing. I got until July (to cash in Money in the Bank). I’m good. It doesn’t expire at WrestleMania. I think a lot of people get confused with that because it used to be at WrestleMania.

“But I have till July so… man, I’m chilling. We’re fine. It’s gonna happen… I see the stuff online where people aren’t sure if I’m gonna cash in, is it gonna be successful and championship material.

“When it happens, I’m gonna shut everybody up. I’m not gonna let everybody know when, because that would be silly. But it’ll happen and it’s gonna happen big so, I’m looking forward to that day and kind of shutting a lot of people up.”

Currently while Damian Priest knows he will be defending the Undisputed tag team titles with Finn Balor against other teams at WrestleMania 40 in a ladder match, they still are unaware which teams.

WrestleMania 40 will feature a six team, tag team ladder match for the titles with the other five teams still remaining a mystery as qualifying matches are set to begin on WWE Raw on March 18.

Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) will face The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) will face The Creed Brothers.

The third qualifying match will see The Miz and R-Truth taking on Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga).

There will also be two SmackDown teams in the match in addition to the Judgment Day and three Raw teams.
