New Entrant Confirmed For 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble

A new entrant has been announced for WWE Royal Rumble which takes place on Saturday 28 January 2023 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The WWE YouTube channel shared footage (which you can watch at the bottom of this news story) featuring Rhea Ripley sparring with Dominik Mysterio in preparation for this weekend’s Premium Live Event.

He has now been confirmed as an entrant for the match itself.

Figure Four Online reported that Mysterio is the sixteenth entrant in the thirty-man over the top rope match.

Ripley is one of only seven participants currently announced for the women’s Royal Rumble match.

It was recently reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is unlikely to be an entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

The WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac recently addressed the possibility of a Royal Rumble appearance, saying there’s “no chance” of him being in the Rumble as he’s been “enjoying life” for the last eight months.
