Drew McIntyre’s Brother Shares Emotional Message About Brief WWE Title Reign WWE

Drew McIntyre’s brother has now shared a heartfelt message about McIntyre’s brief World Heavyweight Championship reign at WrestleMania 40.

During the first match of WrestleMania 40 Sunday, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship, which he has been chasing for months.

While McIntyre previously held the WWE Title twice during the lockdown era, WrestleMania 40 Sunday marked the first time McIntyre had won a WWE world title in front of a live crowd.

McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship reign didn’t last long, with CM Punk attacking the Scottish Warrior during his title celebration.

Damian Priest then cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

At the time, Drew McIntyre’s brother John Galloway voiced his anger at the situation, tweeting a photo of himself outside of the Lincoln Financial Field with the caption:

Not staying after that bulls**t, I’m going to be there for my brother right now. Thank you for the nice messages but this is bollocks. Goodnight Philadelphia 🖕 #WrestleMania

Galloway has now shared a more heartfelt tweet about McIntyre winning the title. Retweeting McIntyre’s video showing him handing the gold to his family members at ringside, John Galloway wrote:

No matter how the night ended this moment was everything. I thought of our mum and how proud she would have been to see her baby boy win at the grandest stage of them all. It never gets easier not having her with us 💔
