The long awaited match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn is officially set.
Following the amazing angle to close out the Royal Rumble premium live event last weekend, Sami and Roman both appeared on last night’s SmackDown.
Sami appeared wearing a hoodie designed to disguise his identity, jumping Reigns from behind and telling him that he never wanted anything from him, but now he does, he wants the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Following an ambush from Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, Roman told Sami that he wanted him at the Elimination Chamber in Montreal, so he could break him infront of his family for breaking up his family.
With the match now officially announced, WWE has released a new poster for the event featuring Reigns and Zayn, which you can see below.
Also set for the show are the two titular matches, with the men’s being for the United States Championship, while the women’s is for a shot at Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair at WrestleMania.
The show is set to take place on February 18 in Sami’s hometown of Montreal.
