Seth Rollins Spotted For First Time Since WWE WrestleMania 40 WWE

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has been spotted for the first time since WrestleMania 40.

Rollins played a huge role at WrestleMania 40. During the first night of action, he teamed with Cody Rhodes in a losing effort against The Rock and Roman Reigns.

Rollins went on to drop his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre in the opening match of WrestleMania 40 Night Two, before distracting Roman Reigns long enough for Cody Rhodes to capitalise and win the WWE Undisputed Universal Title in the show’s main event.

It was reported following WrestleMania that Rollins is expected to be taking some time off to recover from the knee injury he suffered in January.

Rollins’ wrestling school, the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, has now shared a new photo of the WWE star on social media, which you can view below.

The school’s Instagram post was captioned:

Big dog guy. 🐶

Some fans have speculated that this could be a reference to Roman Reigns, who previously used the nickname the Big Dog.

Seth Rollins reminded Reigns of their past together in the WrestleMania 40 main event, showing up with a chair and in the gear he’d wear as part of the Shield faction.

In the closing moments of the match, Reigns turned his attention away from Cody Rhodes to strike Rollins with a chair, getting payback for Rollins betraying him back in 2014.

Rhodes then reversed Reigns’ Spear and hit three Cross Rhodes’ to end Reigns’ 1316 day stint with the gold.

While it’s unclear when Seth Rollins will return to the ring, recent reports noted that Rollins is expected to factor into the 2024 WWE Draft, which takes place on the April 26 edition of SmackDown and April 29 Monday Night Raw.
