After a short stint, Jimmy Wang Yang looks to no longer be a producer in WWE as the company has ended his tryout run.
PWInsider originally reported that he had decided the position wasn’t for him, but Yang, real name James Yun, has since clarified it was WWE’s decision, not his.
Yun tweeted:
I don’t particularly appreciate seeing this narrative saying that I quit. It takes A LOT for me to quit anything. Almost a month ago, @WWE chose not to move forward with me being a producer, and I was perfectly fine with their decision. #idontthinkyouseenthelastofme
He had only started in the role this past October.
