A WWE faction has officially broken up following Saturday’s (September 30) NXT No Mercy premium live event.
With Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler both expected to be leaving WWE later this month, the future of their Schism faction with Joe Gacy and Ava Raine has been unclear.
Gacy has now made a definitive statement on the group.
During No Mercy, a backstage video was shared, revealing that Gacy has declared the Schism ‘dead’, ending his alliance with Ava Raine.
You can watch the video clip below.
Reid and Fowler last wrestled on the August 29 edition of NXT, losing to the Creed Brothers in a steel cage match.
Both stars have deals that are due to expire in October 2023 and it was previously reported that the pair were still expected to leave WWE.
NXT commentator Booker T has confirmed that the two stars are expected to leave WWE soon, recently sharing his thoughts on their departure.
The former NXT UK Tag Team Champions have teased that a previous WWE rivalry is not over, which you can read more about right here.
It’s worth noting that Reid and Fowler’s contracts were set to expire on October 15, so as far as we know, the duo are still with WWE at the time of writing.
goodbye 💔 #NXTNoMercy
