Former WWE Star Fires Shots At Popular Talent For ‘Stealing Everyone’s Moves’

Former WWE Star Fires Shots At Popular Talent For ‘Stealing Everyone’s Moves’ WWE

A former WWE star has fired shots at SmackDown star Tiffany Stratton, claiming that the former NXT Women’s Champion loves to steal moves and gimmicks.

Ash By Elegance, formerly Dana Brooke in WWE, has been establishing herself on the TNA Wrestling Knockouts roster following her debut for the promotion in January.

WWE star Natalya recently took to Twitter to praise Ash, sharing a clip of the former WWE name performing a Swanton Bomb.

When a Twitter user argued in the comments that Tiffany Stratton performs the move better, Ash replied, throwing shade on the rising WWE star.

The former “Dana Brooke” wrote:

Funny thing is I’ve been doing it for years & she loves to steal everyone’s moves & gimmicks … knock off Barbie…

A number of Twitter users have criticised Ash for this response, pointing out that this conversation was about the Swanton Bomb, a move popularised by the likes of the Hardy Boyz long before Ash started using the maneuver.

Ash By Elegance was released by WWE during the September 2023 round of talent cuts.

Tiffany Stratton has been rising in popularity fast since her main roster call-up in February.

The reaction to her appearance at that month’s WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event surprised WWE, with fans chanting for Tiffany Stratton while she was still in her chamber pod, and chanting bulls**t after her elimination from the women’s Elimination Chamber match.

UPDATE: Dana Brooke has since claimed she was in character when making the comment.
