Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has reacted to his omission from advertising for Royal Rumble 2024, referencing his ‘frustrations’.
WWE recently shared their official poster for the January 27, 2024 premium live event, which will mark the beginning of the road to WrestleMania 40.
With two 30-person Royal Rumble bouts expected to take place, fans are looking forward to seeing all of their favourite stars on the show.
While numerous WWE names were featured on the new Royal Rumble poster, one star who was absent from the graphic was Drew McIntyre.
The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter to address this, writing:
Are you starting to understand my frustrations now?
Drew McIntyre recently completed his heel turn ahead of teaming with the Judgment Day in the WarGames match that headlined Survivor Series 2023.
Following this show, and the return of CM Punk, it was reported that McIntyre ‘stormed into the back, slammed his locker room door, threw on a hoodie and immediately left the Allstate Arena’.
It was later reported that Drew McIntyre was legitimately upset, but about things ‘broader than CM Punk’.
McIntyre has since appeared on WWE TV, notably confronting World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on Monday’s (November 27) edition of Raw.
McIntyre being frustrated at certain situations is also something that’s become part of his on-screen character, stemming from everyone forgiving Jey Uso but growing to other situations as well.
