WWE has shared heartwarming footage of an interaction between Hall of Famer Goldberg and former WWE Champion Big E.
WWE is currently celebrating 25 years of Goldberg throughout September, as September 22 will be a quarter of a century on from his WCW Monday Nitro debut in 1997.
WWE has posted a video to social media featuring Goldberg backstage at Royal Rumble 2021, with Big E telling him how much of an inspiration the former WCW star had been to him growing up.
Goldberg tells Big E to carry the torch as the duo hug it out.
Big E is currently out of action, recovering after suffering a broken neck in March. The former WWE Champion has revealed that his doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
Goldberg last wrestled in February, unsuccessfully challenging for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship. Reigns went on to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to unify the Universal and WWE titles to form the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
