An update has emerged on WWE’s recruitment goals, with the company reportedly interested in signing another released star.
Numerous names have made their WWE returns under the Triple H regime, since the Game took over WWE creative in late-July 2022 as the company’s Chief Content Officer.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE wants to bring back a previous prospect.
The report noted that several promotions, including WWE, are interested in signing EJ Nduka, a 6-foot-5 former college footballer and bodybuilder who previously wrestled for NXT as ‘Ezra Judge’.
Nduka signed with WWE in 2018. He only wrestled a few matches on the house show circuit before his release in May 2021.
He currently wrestles for MLW and currently holds the promotion’s World Tag Team Championship alongside Calvin Tankman.
AEW and promotions in Japan have reportedly also shown interest in Nduka, according to Meltzer.
Triple H was elevated to his current role after Vince McMahon officially stepped down from his executive and creative roles in July 2022 amid ‘hush pact’ allegations.
McMahon has now issued a statement on his plans to return to WWE, which you can read at this link.
