WWE World Heavyweight Championship challenger Jinder Mahal has broken his silence again after being the target of a Tony Khan rant.
On January 9, the AEW owner had taken to Twitter to criticize the ‘double standard‘ reaction to WWE’s booking versus his own.
This led to a flurry of activity from across social media among fans and wrestlers alike, including a now-deleted response from Mahal himself.
Mahal has once again tweeted in what could be seen as a follow-up to the furore, posting a GIF during last night’s AEW Dynamite of himself angrily reacting to what’s happening on a WWE screen backstage.
Booker T also shared a Mahal GIF, showing the Modern Day Maharjah laughing quite maniacally.
Both of these social media posts can be seen below this news story. Mahal’s was his first since the now-deleted response to Khan, which itself was his first tweet since June 2022.
Among recent responses to Khan’s post have been Corey Graves saying that ‘Jinder rules’ with recently released WWE star Bryson Montana reposting this message and stating:
“Facts. And one of the nicest and most helpful guys around.”
Rhea Ripley has also reacted to Khan’s criticism as did Edris Enofe with a simple ‘stfu‘.
Tony Khan previously argued that AEW is under constant attack and would go on to discuss the pros and cons of “people in the wrestling business (who) are on Twitter all the time.”
