AEW Star HOOK Responds To WWE’s Jinder Mahal Asking ‘Who The F**k Is HOOK?’

AEW star and World Championship #1 contender HOOK has responded to WWE’s Jinder Mahal asking, “who the f**k is HOOK?” on social media.

HOOK and Mahal’s contrasting win/loss records were recently brought up on Twitter by AEW CEO Tony Khan as he was comparing who was more deserving of a world championship match.

This led to a response from former WWE Champion Mahal, who simply asked “who tf is HOOK?”.

HOOK, who has never been active on Twitter during his AEW career, hadn’t responded until a new promo ahead of him challenging Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship tonight (January 17).

In the new video, HOOK says:

“So who’s the pressure on tomorrow? I mean, is there really anything that I have to lose?

And also (bites into a slice of pizza), I’m not big enough to compete with Samoa Joe. Eh, but I am getting some calories right now (holds up pizza), so who knows.

“Then again, who the f**k am I anyway?

“24 hours Joe, I’m coming for that world title.”

HOOK, who has a 44-3 overall record in his AEW career according to the company’s official website, challenges Joe tonight in North Charleston, South Carolina on a card that also features Anna Jay vs Deonna Purrazzo, and Christian Cage defending the TNT Championship against Dustin Rhodes.
