WWE Hall Of Famer Names ‘Best Heel In The Business’ WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has named the person they think is the “best heel in the business” and it probably won’t be a shock to many.

Kurt Angle recently revealed the name on an episode of The Kurt Angle Show.

Speaking about events in 2002, Angle recalled winning the WWE Championship at WWE Armageddon, defeating Big Show, who was managed by Paul Heyman at the time.

Shortly after this match, Angle would reveal Heyman as the new manager of himself and Team Angle (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin).

The Olympic Gold Medalist stated:

“I thought it was a great idea. It’s not that I needed Paul (Heyman) to speak for me, but he draws a lot of heat.

“At this particular time, I was kind of a babyface, so having Paul on my side would draw a little bit more heat for me.”

“He draws a lot of heat. He’s the best promo guy I’ve ever been around.

“When you’re around him you learn a lot, so I was really happy to have Paul as my manager.”

Angle would go on call Heyman “the best heel in the business”.

Heyman continues his Machiavellian ways as the Special Counsel to Roman Reigns having previously managed Brock Lesnar.

In June 2019, Heyman was made executive director of WWE Raw.

He would continue in this role until June 2020 where he would be removed as executive director as part of a streamlining process that saw Bruce Pritchard leading both SmackDown and Raw writing teams.
