A WWE legend is officially set for his first AEW singles match in more than 17 months coming up in just a matter of days.
On tonight’s March 30 Collision, the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn appeared for an in-ring interview to address Bullet Club Gold invading Gunn’s house on Rampage last night.
Part of their attempt at retribution will take place on this coming Wednesday’s Dynamite, as former WWE Intercontinental Champion Billy Gunn faces ‘Switchblade’ Jay White at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts on April 3.
This will be Gunn’s first singles match since losing to Swerve Strickland back in October 2022.
The Acclaimed, Gunn and Bullet Club Gold had recently united in a “super group” called the Bang Bang Scissor Gang, but it was always going to be short-lived.
The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn currently hold the AEW Trios Championship while Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and Austin & Colten Gunn are ROH Six-Man World Tag Team Champions.
Elsewhere on tonight’s Collision, Adam Copeland defeated Matt Cardona to retain the TNT Championship.
"What I can't get past, is you coming in to my house where my Wife & I live" – Billy Gunn calling out Jay White.
