A current WWE name has been praised in recent weeks for their work in replacing a currently absent Hall of Famer.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was recently removed from NXT television, missing NXT Vengeance Day and every show since.
Booker’s absence was due to him undergoing a medical procedure, with Wade Barrett filling in for him at Vengeance Day, and Byron Saxton filling in on the weekly television shows.
Saxton had been providing commentary for NXT Level Up alongside Blake Howard prior to filling for Booker, and has been pulling double duty in recent weeks.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Saxton has received praise in taking up for Booker T as part of the commentary on NXT during Booker’s absence.
It is not known when Booker will make his return to NXT following his absence.
A member of the Bloodline Family recently revealed that he had ‘reconciled’ with the WWE Hall of Famer, which you can see here.
A recently signed independent star has also been receiving praise backstage, which you can see here.
