Major WWE Name Set To Make TV Return After Over Two Years Away?

A new report has revealed major WWE name and Vice President of Global Talent Development, William Regal is set to make their TV return.

In December 2022, William Regal finished up his run with All Elite Wrestling and made his return to WWE in a behind-the-scenes role of Vice President of Global Talent Development.

Following his abrupt exit from AEW, Regal was unable to appear as an on-screen character on WWE TV as part of his departure from the company.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), William Regal’s return to WWE programming has been discussed as of late specifically for the NXT brand.

In a separate Fightful Select report, Regal filmed a segment for tonight’s January 23 episode of WWE NXT.

This will mark Regal’s first appearance on WWE TV in well over two years.

It remains to be seen what kind of segment or in what role Regal will appear in on tonight’s January 23 episode of NXT, but we will of course provide live news updates throughout the show.
