WWE Addresses NBCU Peacock Partnership Ahead Of Raw Moving To Netflix WWE

Here’s how WWE’s announced partnership with Netflix will impact the how premium live events are streamed in the US, with Peacock being the current home of the WWE Network.

WWE announced a long-term partnership with Netflix on Tuesday (January 23), revealing that WWE Raw will move to the streaming platform in January 2025.

With Netflix set to become the exclusive home of Raw in a number of international territories including the US, Canada, UK and Latin America, it has also been announced that Netflix will also become the home for all WWE shows and specials in international territories, including premium live events.

Because of this, many fans have speculated that WWE is preparing to move away from Peacock, which is currently the home of WWE’s premium live events.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, WWE President Nick Khan reaffirmed that only non-US territories will have access to premium live events on Netflix.

Noting that Peacock will remain WWE’s PLE partner in the US while Raw is streaming on Netflix in the same region, Khan said:

“Our current partner in the United States on all of the premium live events like WrestleMania is Peacock on NBCU.

“They’ve been tremendous partners. This deal with Netflix is for premium live events (for) outside the United States, excluding certain territories where we have existing deals like India for example.

“It’s Raw globally, again with a few exceptions there, but it’s really a global enterprise with Netflix that should build to something even greater.”
