A WWE talent has now received a new ring name, which the company recently filed to trademark.
WWE made several trademark filings with the United States Patent & Trademark Office on September 19, with one of these filings to trademark the name ‘Jaida Parker’ .
We now know who will be using this ring name, with NXT star Tiana Caffey changing her social media to reflect her new moniker.
Caffey’s Instagram handle is now @jaida.parkerwwe.
Tiana Caffey made her WWE in-ring debut at an NXT house show in March.
She wrestled for the first time as Jaida Parker at the September 22 house show in Fort Pierce, Florida, facing off against Kelani Jordan.
You can watch clips from this bout below.
There had been some online speculation that the Jaida Parker name would be going to former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill.
Cargill recently finished up with AEW with her contract expiring on September 15, and she was removed from the AEW roster page on September 18 – the same day PWInsider reported she was in Orlando for WWE.
Tony Khan recently commented on Jade Cargill following her AEW departure, which you can read more about right here.
