Another WWE star has announced themselves for the Royal Rumble, with Nia Jax being added to the women’s match on January 27, 2024.
Jax made her announcement on the December 18 episode of WWE Raw, with things hotting up between herself and Becky Lynch.
The feud between Jax and Lynch will see the pair in a “first time ever” match at the Day 1 episode of WWE Raw on January 1, 2024.
WWE Raw Day 1 comes from San Diego, California, which Jax notes is her hometown.

She joins Bayley who announced herself for the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match on the December 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Jax made a surprise return at the WWE Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023 as entrant number 30.
Although she would triumphantly announced “I’m back” during her appearance, she wouldn’t be seen again until the Septemer 11 episode of WWE Raw, attacking Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley.
Her return match would take place on September 25, again on WWE Raw, where she would defeat Zoey Stark.
She was the first WWE superstar to compete in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match back in 2019.
Nia Jax is a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion and a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion with Shayna Baszler.
