WWE Tournament Finalists Confirmed

WWE Tournament Finalists Confirmed WWE

The final of the WWE NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament is set after a tie-breaker match on tonight’s NXT.

With another set of matches on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT (September 19) to determine who would advance to the finals, one group’s winner was decided easily, the other was more complex.

With Group A’s last match seeing Tyler Bate taking on Butch for a chance to head to the finals, there was a decisive winner.

Butch won the match and picked up the last two points, therefore securing his spot in the tournament final.

However, when it came to the last match from Group B featuring Joe Coffey against Duke Hudson, there was an upset.

With Hudson beating Coffey, this gave him the additional 2 points needed to push a three-way tie in Group B.

It was announced shortly thereafter that there would be a three-way match on tonight’s NXT to determine a winner from Group B pitting Joe Coffey against Duke Hudson and Nathan Frazer as they were all level on points.

In the closing moments, Nathan Frazer looked set to beat Duke Hudson, but before he was able to get the pin, he was tossed aside by Joe Coffey.

Coffey threw Frazer outside of the ring before headbutting him off the apron, turning his attention back to Duke.

Capitalizing on the already weakened Hudson, Coffey hit his finisher All The Best For The Bells and captured the pinfall victory.

The final of the Global Heritage Cup Invitational will be Butch versus Joe Coffey on next week’s NXT with the winner going on to face Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at WWE NXT No Mercy.

No Mercy takes place on September 30, with Becky Lynch’s opponent for the NXT Women’s Championship also being confirmed tonight – find out who she’ll be facing at this link.
