A NXT star visited his tag team partner in jail on tonight’s episode (June 6) as the pair continue to try and find out who set them up.

After Tony D’Angelo was seen being brought in for questioning and subsequently booked into jail, on tonight’s edition he was able to receive a special visitor in jail.

With Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo visiting Tony D’Angelo in the slammer, he continued to wonder who had set Tony D up.

As the search for the rat continued, Tony D reassured Stacks that he wasn’t having too terrible of a time in pokey.

He had reunited with a pal named Knuckles, he had his morning paper delivered to him and most luckily, the guards hooked him up with a Peacock subscription so he can watch NXT the next day.

What a progressive penal program Tony D has found himself in!

In the end, Tony D encouraged Stacks to trust his gut and pointed the finger at Gallus as the perps who set up the Don.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, several top NXT opponents were teased for Baron Corbin as he continued making enemies at the Performance Center.

And The Rock’s daughter, Ava, made her television in-ring debut in a mixed match alongside her faction mates from Schism, the Dyad. You can click here to read all about the USA Network debut. 

Also, a WWE Raw star joined the NXT Women’s Battle Royal and a new faction revealed their name as a group.
