WWE Open To Adding Third Hour To SmackDown? WWE

WWE Raw has been a three-hour show since July 2012, when the show added an extra hour coming out of Raw 1000.

SmackDown has remained a two hour show during that time, and is considered the more popular of WWE’s two flagship shows due to being one hour shorter.

However, WWE have allegedly had discussions about adding a third hour of the show, per WWE CEO Nick Khan at the JPMorgan Global TMT Teleconference.

Khan said that the company is ‘open’ to adding an extra hour to the show, before putting over WWE’s programming as it can ‘go on any night of the week’.

Khan had previous said recently that WWE was open to the idea of SmackDown being moved to a different night.

Elsewhere during the conference, Nick Khan discussed the third hour of Raw, and how there have been discussions about making the last hour ‘more adult’.

World Heavyweight Championship – Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. AJ Styles

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa
