There has been a lot of speculation about Ricochet’s next move, now that he’s no longer competing under the WWE banner.

With many people first becoming fans of Ricochet when he wrestled as masked luchador Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, some have speculated that the high-flyer could revisit this character soon.

Ricochet has now taken to Twitter to respond to the question “is Prince Puma coming back?”

Noting that it’s not entirely his decision, Ricochet explained:

I dunno, it’s not my gimmick. It belongs to #LuchaUnderground

Ricochet wrestled as Prince Puma for several years, with his last appearance as the character coming at Ultima Lucha Tres in October 2017, notably losing a Lucha Underground Title Career vs Career match to Pentagon Dark (Penta El Zero M).

Ricochet joined WWE shortly after, with his WWE signing officially announced in January 2018.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion recently addressed comparisons made between himself and a recent AEW debutant, which you can read more about right here.
