Popular WWE Premium Live Event Set To Return WWE

Details regarding another inclusion to WWE’s 2024 Premium Live Event schedule have now been revealed, with a historic old event set to return.

With trips to France, Scotland and Germany all set for WWE’s PLE calendar for the upcoming year, it seems like now know of another inclusion to the list.

As reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE are set to bring back the King & Queen of the Ring event for its own standalone PLE show on May 25.

Meltzer said:

“By the way the next pay-per-view is going to be King & Queen of the Ring, which is the Saudi show on May 25.”

Fans will remember that WWE had announced that the event would be making its return on May 27, 2023, only for it to be changed later to Night of Champions.

This will mark the first time King of the Ring has been a standalone inclusion on the WWE PLE calendar since 2002.

While not on its own show, WWE has sporadically held King of the Ring tournaments since then, with the last winner being Xavier Woods in 2021.

That same year WWE would hold the first Queen’s Crown Tournament, which was won by Zelina Vega.

This news has not yet been confirmed by WWE but WrestleTalk will provide further details as/when they become available.
