Footage from fans in attendance at WWE Raw has revealed what happened to Sami Zayn after the show went off air.
In the footage, Cody Rhodes and Matt Riddle come to celebrate Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens despite their defeat at the hands of Judgment Day.
Results for the May 15 episode of WWE Raw, including how Zayn & Owens came to be defeated can be seen towards the end of this news story.
Post-show, Rhodes and Riddle would join the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, with Rhodes carrying Zayn on his shoulders.
In a moment reminiscent of Randy Orton being carried on Batista’s shoulders during an in-ring celebration only to receive a thumbs down from Evolution leader Triple H, for one moment, it looks like Zayn is about to get the same treatment from his tag-team partner.
Thankfully, it doesn’t end that way and the crowd went home happy.
The moment was captured by Anutosh Bajpai and can be seen below this news story.
