Who Produced LA Knight/The Miz Promo Segment & More On WWE Raw

Amid reports regarding a top free agent being potentially brought in as a producer, the full list of backstage producers responsible for this week’s matches and segments for the August 7 WWE Raw have now been revealed.

The show, which emanated from Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Target Center, featured six matches and plenty of storyline development off the back of SummerSlam and heading into the next WWE Premium Live Event, Payback on September 2.

Now, courtesy of Fightful Select we can find out who was behind this weeks action, with the full list available below:

Cody Rhodes promo: Jamie Noble

Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Matt Riddle vs. Ricochet vs. Chad Gable vs. Tommaso Ciampa: Jason Jordan

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed: Shane Helms (The Hurricane)

Becky Lynch promo: Petey Williams

Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark: Petey Williams

Otis vs. Ludwig Kaiser: Ken Doane (Kenny Dykstra)

LA Knight & The Miz promo: Jason Jordan

New Day vs. Viking Raiders: Adam Pearce

Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Judgment Day: Jamie Noble

Interestingly this is the second straight week that Jason Jordan has produced his former tag partner Chad Gable’s matches, with the Olympian producing a breakout performance in his home state to earn an Intercontinental Title shot against Gunther.

Despite reports of former IMPACT and NWA World Champion Nick Aldis being backstage in Minneapolis, he clearly was not thrown immediately in the deep end to produce any of Raw’s material.

The same can be said for injured WWE star Bobby Roode who was also reportedly backstage at both Raw and August 5’s SummerSlam ahead of a potential producing role.
