WWE Raw Moment Receives ‘Rave Reviews’ Backstage

A new report has revealed a WWE Raw moment from the April 15 episode that has received “rave reviews” backstage.

On the April 15 edition of WWE Raw from Montreal, Sami Zayn defeated Chad Gable to retain the Intercontinental Championship in the main event.

Prior to his title bout, there was a one-shot camera segment that followed Jey Uso outside the Bell Centre who met up with Sami Zayn.

The two friends embraced before Zayn went through the concourse and a sea of fan back inside the arena to the Montreal crowd singing Sami’s theme song. The entrance has received universal praise by fans on social media.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), there were rave reviews internally backstage for Sami Zayn’s entrance in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The work of new executive producer Lee Fitting has been receiving more and more praise from fans and the company alike.

After losing the WWE Raw main event, Chad Gable turned heel on Sami Zayn by attacking him from behind and applying the ankle lock in the turnbuckle to end the broadcast.
