‘Are You F**king Kidding Me?’ – Released WWE Star Shares Reaction To Being Let Go By Company

A previously released WWE star has shared their genuine reaction to being let go from the company in September.

Along with fellow released stars such as Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali and Matt Riddle all making their first moves post-WWE, former Hit Row member Top Dolla has also wasted zero time in getting immediately back to work.

Now competing under his real name of AJ Francis, the former NFL star has already made his return to GCW on December 21, with another appearance for the promotion also confirmed for their Look At Me event on January 26.

While Francis is now picking up where he left off on the independent scene, he recently reflected on his WWE departure in an interview with Sportskeeda, in which he explained what his feelings were when received the news of his release.

Francis said:

“The day that I was released in September, I was like, furious! I was like, ‘are you f**king kidding me?’

“After everything that I’ve done?

“After all the hard work I’ve put in, all the times I was the only person in the ring before SmackDown (who was) doing anything.”

In other news in relation to released WWE stars, Elias has now re-emerged on social media for the first time since being let go from the company.

In a video uploaded to Twitter, Elias teased a return to wrestling while also revealing his new post-WWE ring name.
