WWE has removed a controversial line about released talent from the Liv Morgan vs Becky Lynch Raw confrontation YouTube clip.
In her promo, Morgan argued that Lynch’s contract is the reason why her friends (Ruby Soho and Sarah Logan) were let go by the company. Following the segment, reports emerged revealing that some talent within the company thought the line was in bad taste.
The references to released performers no longer features in the YouTube video highlight of the promo:
PWInsider has noted that, as per several sources, the line likely came from Vince McMahon or someone on the creative team. Morgan is set to challenge Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship next week.
