It was officially announced earlier today that the NXT Tag Team Championship has been vacated following Nash Carter’s WWE release earlier this week after abuse allegations and an image of what appeared to be Carter performing a Nazi salute having shaved his facial hair to resemble Adolf Hitler were shared online by his wife Kimber Lee.
WWE has since officially removed Nash Carter from their WWE.com roster page, officially confirming that he is no longer with the company.
Carter is also not listed under the alumni section of the site, and has been completely removed from the site.
WWE will crown the next NXT Tag Team Champions of this Tuesday’s episode of NXT 2.0.
