A new report has revealed that WWE is reportedly working on new ECW documentary to premiere on the A&E Network.
As previously reported, Paul Heyman is set to direct and executive produce a WWE Legends Biography episode on current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. However, it seems like that will not be the only project the company is working with Heyman involved.
Per Wrestling Inc. (via PWInsider Elite), there has been some early work done on an ECW episode of WWE Legends Biography for A&E.
The report notes that some talent have been contacted about doing interviews for the potential episode already, but it hasn’t been confirmed when the show will air as of this writing.
However, it is worth note that this episode will not be for the current season running on A&E at the moment.
WWE will be utilizing the 2300 Arena (the old ECW Arena) for a private event presented for On Location package holders on WrestleMania Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.
The event will feature meet and greets as well as showcasing ECW artifacts. However, the event will not be open to the public and is exclusive for those paying a premium for the weekend packages.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on this WWE-produced ECW documentary when they become available.
