WWE Star & AEW Star Attend Big Event Together

WWE star Rhea Ripley and her fiancé AEW star Buddy Matthews were out attending tonight’s big UFC 299 event together.

Posting on her Instagram stories, Rhea Ripley shared a snap of herself and Matthews at UFC 299 tonight.

While in real life the pair may have been enjoying a date night in Miami, at least for Matthews, his television counterpart was still busy with in-ring action.

Since AEW Collision aired a pre-taped episode tonight (filmed on Thursday, March 7), Matthews featured in the main event of the show while he was taking in the UFC affair.

Buddy Matthews along with Brody King and Malakai Black were embroiled in an ‘Atlanta Street Fight’ between House of Black and the team of Mark Briscoe, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.

In the end, Matthews and Black put Mark Briscoe through a flaming table before being pinning him back in the ring for the House of Black victory to close Collision.

Rhea Ripley continues to cast her eyes ahead on the road to WWE WrestleMania 40 as she is poised to defend her title against Becky Lynch.
